Single items no Riders
According to the constitution, all laws regarding taxes and spending, must originate from the
House of Representatives.
Congress now add "things" to what might otherwise be a good bill. This is a convenient or
easy way to get things passed that probably would not survive on their own.
The reinstate-us party would enact legislation that would require each and every bill to be
handled separately and nothing added at any time.
If proposed legislation required funding, that is the only thing that can be added. No other items.
This would mean that every item, every proposed spending bill,
everything proposed by every congressman would live or die on it's own merit.
